Jack & Jill
Welcome to our second Jack and Jill, this year in partnership with WFC.
Jack and Jill (J&J) is a format of competition in partner dancing, where the competing couples are the result of random matching of leaders and followers, this means that you are improvising a dance with a random partner to a random song. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity. But the most important thing is that you will have fun!
Saturday - Preliminairies
Some couples will dance with pairs drawn at the same time.
10 finalists will be voted to take part in the final on Sunday, the results of which will be announced during the evening.
Sunday - Final
The 10 finalists in each category will dance to 1 slow and 1 fast song that will be raffled off. The pairs will also be drawn.
The results and awards ceremony will be held on the same evening.

Rules & requirements

You must hold a full or a party pass.

Places are limited. The subscription is mandatory.

Check-in at the event registration desk prior to the competition.

Wear the assigned competition number throughout the competition.

In the preliminary round, dancers will be judged individually.

In the finals, you will be judged as a couple with a judge selected partner.

The organization is available in case of doubt about which level to enroll. We may suggest a change of the participant’s choice in order to maintain a balance in the contest.

Get ready to showcase your talent and embrace the competition at our festival!

Music will be randomly chosen.

Perform aerial or acrobatic moves (defined as lifting both feet off the ground
for more than 3 seconds) -
Partners will be randomly selected.
Judging Criteria

Technique: Technique is how you perform your dance actions and movement.

Connection: Quality of guidance and cleanliness of dance

Musicality: The ability to synchronize dance movements with the nuances of the music being played

Creativity: Let your personality and energy shine on the dance floor!

How will it work?
In the preliminaries on Saturday, 6 couples will dance to 6 random songs and will be judged individually.
In the final on Sunday, 4 drawn couples will dance to 2 songs each, one slow and one fast.
It's going to be a lot of fun!
